The family
A great group of characters in this Season 3 is without a doubt the Ratliff family. Headed by Victoria Ratliff, played by Parker Posey, and Timothy (Jason Isaacs), who travel to Thailand with their three children: Saxon (Patrick Schwarzenegger), idealistic daughter Piper (Sarah Catherine Hook) and Lochlan (Sam Nivola).

The second son of Victoria and Timothy, Lochlan (played by Sam Nivola) wears Persol PO0649 sunglasses in The White Lotus Season 3.
Originally released in 1957, the Persol 649 sunglasses model has remained an enduring icon. The frame was designed to protect Turin's tram drivers from dust and glare, but they became truly famous when Italian actor Marcello Mastroianni wore them in the 1961 film Divorce Italian Style.

The friends
And then there is the trio of old friends Kate (Leslie Bibb), Jaclyn (Michelle Monaghan) and Laurie (Carrie Coon).
These three old friends reunite at the Thai resort for some quality time together after a few years apart.
Jaclyn (Michelle Monaghan) is a successful actress.
Laurie (Carrie Coon) is a high-flying lawyer recovering from a recent divorce.
Kate (Leslie Bibb) is a stay-at-home mom who appears to have it all.
The staff
As per the previous White Lotus seasons, the staff of the resort plays a big part in the story as well. In Season 3 we meet hotel security guard Gaitok (Tayme Thapthimthong) and health guru Mook (Lalisa Manoban). Plus, the only returning character from a previous season, Belinda played by Natasha Rothwell. Belinda is technically not staff in this resort, but in the resort of Season 1. In this season she is on a research trip for her own wellness enterprise.
